Overview
In July 2025 I began my 4-month apprenticeship (650 hours total) at The Creative School Chrysalis. Through that experience I was able to obtain valuable knowledge/training and refine my existing skillset to succeed in future live sound positions as well as general crew and intra-departmental work.
Under the guidance and mentorship of the Technical Lead Scott Martin, Creative Producer Jasmine Au, Assistant Technical Leads Ashley Murray-Whitten and Nathan Gregory.

Responsibilities/Duties
- Served as Head of Audio on multiple productions in venues up to 1,200-seat theatres, including alternative seating configurations, overseeing live sound and system setup.
- Operated as live sound mixer (A1) for workshops, concerts, and large-scale touring events.
- Mentored and trained students, providing guidance in live sound, technical skills, and production workflows.
- Collaborated with Technical Leads, Creative Producers, and production teams to ensure high-quality audio delivery.
- Gained hands-on experience across diverse projects, including musical theatre, concerts, residencies, and international touring performances.
